Pieniny Midsummer Night (Noc Świętojańska) is an event full of symbolism and references to ancient customs — a magical return to Slavic traditions, held in the stunning scenery of the Homole Gorge.

We’ve just celebrated the first, unforgettable edition of the Pieniny Midsummer Night in Szczawnica–Jaworki — an event that drew crowds and will be remembered for years to come.

An evening filled with music, fire, and ancient rituals transported guests into the atmosphere of centuries past. The program featured concerts by outstanding bands and an impressive fire show that thrilled and amazed the audience.

The Slavic village, recreated with great attention to historical detail, was also a major attraction. Visitors could try their hand at archery with the Dzikie Gęsi (Wild Geese) team, join weaving, herbal, and handicraft workshops, and sample traditionally baked bread and herbal soup. It was a living lesson in the history and culture of the ancient Slavs.

There were also plenty of attractions for children — including art workshops, animations, and performances. The food court featured local delicacies, from traditional highlander dishes to ancient Slavic recipes, all prepared with products from the Pieniny.
